Prerequisites

Before connecting Google Drive to Axiamatic, ensure:

  1. You have an active Google account with Google Drive

  2. Your browser allows pop-ups from Axiamatic (for the authorization window)

  3. For Google Workspace users: Verify that your administrator has enabled third-party API access for Google Drive

  4. You're comfortable granting read-only access to your file.

How It Works

When you connect Google Drive to Axiamatic:

  1. You authorize secure, read-only access to your files

  2. Axiamatic indexes your documents to understand your content

  3. Our AI provides intelligent responses based on your specific files and context

  4. You maintain complete control and can revoke access at any time

Important: This integration is read-only. Axiamatic cannot edit, delete, or modify your files or Google account in any way.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Log in & Access Settings

  • Log in to your Axiamatic account.

  • Navigate to the “Settings” section from the dashboard.

Step 2: Integrations Page

  • Within Settings, go to the “Integrations” page.

  • Locate the “Google Drive” integrations card.

Step 3: Initiate Connection

  • Click on the “Connect” button.

  • A pop-up will appear prompting you to choose between a Shared Connection or Private Connection.

Shared Connection

  • Grants access to all current and future projects/business units in Axiamatic.

  • Recommended for organizations seeking broad integration.

Private Connection

  • Limits access to the current project or account only.

  • Each new project will require a separate connection setup.

Step 4: Confirm Connection Choice

  • After selecting your preferred connection type, another pop-up will prompt you.

  • Click on “Connect” to proceed.

Step 5: Google Account Selection

  • You will be redirected to the Google authentication UI.

  • Select your Google account to complete the authorization.

Integration complete! Your ClickUp account is now connected and ready to use with Axiamatic.

After completing the Google Drive integration, Axiamatic allows users to specify which folders or files to pull in for analysis. Below are concise, step-by-step instructions to guide the process:

Adding Google Drive Folders or Files to Axiamatic

Once your Google Drive integration is active, you can designate specific folders or files for Axiamatic to index and analyze.

Steps to Connect Specific Files or Folders

Step 1: Navigate to Channels Page
Go to the “Channels” section within Axiamatic’s settings dashboard.


Step 2: Locate Google Drive Integration Card
If the integration is successful, you will see a card for Google Drive.
Click the “Connect folders and files” button on this card.


Step 3: Enter File or Folder URLs
Paste the URL of each Google Drive file or folder you want Axiamatic to access in the provided field. You may add up to 5 separate URLs.


Step 4: Save and Pull Data
Click Save. Axiamatic will automatically pull data from your designated URLs, enabling seamless indexing and intelligent responses based on the selected content.
